The 8 Step Genius Communication Formula

The Title really entitled, but still, my neocortex brain didn't allow me, to believe the promise. A quite natural instinct of all, unless we use our sense organs and common sense we don't believe, fare enough. Moreover, I like to prove the promise, a false. That`s how I began the course.

The course structured with 3 Modules.

Module -1 Marketing Psychology.

What does Psychology do here? I thought, and such a lengthy module seems so uninterested? Though I started, I have no idea till then why human behavioral psychology is behind the entire Marketing concept, and how human behavior dictates the whole economy, to Exist, Run, or Collapse.

The course speaks about, the marketing Superpower includes Tools, Analysis, Customer Behaviour, and the human brain and how it influences the Buyer, Product, and Market. Learned Communication is the perfect mantra to influence the brain. I understood that people buy, to fulfill their respective needs, but I learned the real science behind buying is to ‘Survive & Thrive.’

The market has psychology, indeed yes, I googled, the brain is divided into 3 parts Neocortex- Thinking brain, Limbic system- An emotional brain, Reptilian Complex- A Survival brain. The information that we received through communication is filtered through these three brain layers and involuntary or voluntary actions were been taken, how strange? I learned an equation Thoughts + Emotions + Action = Survival.

Now let me tell you, what I understood in brief about Marketing & how Psychology is clubbed together.

The marketing has 6 super duper principles they are”

  1. Save money
  2. save time
  3. Be a part of the community
  4. Gain status
  5. Make Money
  6. The desire for meaning.

We all are buyers, and unless any of the above principles satisfy, we won`t invest or purchase. An open secret one must admit. So to understand and classify the above principles, the brain secretes a few Neurochemicals those are.

  1. Dopamine
  2. Serotonin
  3. Oxytocin
  4. Endorphin
  5. Cortisol

The first four are happiness Neurochemicals and the last one is the fear/stress Neurochemical. Interestingly though we have 4 happiness feel-good chemicals to release, but, most of us choose the last one, unfortunately.

Surprisingly, these 5 Neurochemicals are triggered and released to take actions and bear the consequences. Thinking it as a Rocket science? But it is the common science which we learn and left long back at school after exams. But digging deep into the course made me understood, what we learned in school will never leave us yet, it follows us.

And I able to pay attention, how the so-called marketing giant companies deeply understood the function of the brain and the behavior of the customers. And they took advantage of the knowledge and brainwashed, manipulated their interests on us, and converted into a trillion dollars sales and ruling the global markets still.

Now coming to the next topic the 6 principles of persuasion.

  1. Reciprocation
  2. Consistency
  3. Social proof
  4. Authority
  5. Liking
  6. Scarcity

The above 6 are the standard principles that are ruling the business. Any copy, ad, or Story must and should have any of the principles to survive. To attract the customer to gain trust, or to make them feel the product you sell, just apply the above principles its a huge success. you bet!

Module -2 Copywriting

Being an ambitious Copywriter, I jump and dived into the topic.

The course taught me how words can transform into cash? Interesting isn`t it. The steps by step teachings about how to understand the prospect, simplify the message, how to follow the structure, and finally how to sell a solution to the customers. Simply awesome, easy learning and practically applying.

  2. The promise must be new, compelling, and strong in solving and addressing the problem.
  3. An Impactful copy taps and triggers the right neurochemical of the customer.
  4. Always create a curiosity that makes the customer stick to the copy until the end.
  5. Headlines capture the proper attention

Module - 3 Business Story Telling.

So far I thought storytelling is just any other art form and related and reflects in scripts, books, movies, and plays but I learned in the course business do tell stories! And those stories nearly simulate the scripts, the best part is the course explained by the perfectly well-structured format with easily grasped content with mind-boggling examples.
